What is Dubstep?
Things to keep in mind when listening:
-Heavy electronic basslines
-Drops. A "Drop" is point in the song where things calm down momentarilly only for the basslines to exponentially go crazy and wobble, thereby temporarily changing the rhythm of the song. Drops are not required for Dubstep, but they are fairly common.
-The average song on radio stations is about 120 beats per minute. Dubstep songs in general average around 140 beats per minute.
